Comment
Darby Crash's last show ever. Performance ends after the second performance of Richie Dagger's Crime, which the band performs again because, according to Darby, "we're out of songs".

| Notes: | Beautiful board recording, which has aged extremely well. My copy has almost no tape hiss, although there are almost un-noticable clicks between tracks. There is a gap after Communist Eyes (tape flip?), as well. When there is feedback, the limitations of the source tape are shown, as when the levels get too hot, the music fades into the background a bit. This only happens a few times, and in no way marrs what is a wonderful document of a truly historic show. The band is smoking during this performance, and they really give it all they have. My copy does not have the listed filler, but it does have 5 demo tracks from 1979 which are actually available in a much better form on the Germs Anthology. The filler is just that, but this show is uneniably essential. | |||||

| Notes: | Reunion show. On cdr w/ 79 demo. I saw them at the North Park Lions club in San Diego in 1980. Pat Smear had the best punk haircut of all time, long to his elbow half and other half bald. During the show he leaned against the wall the entire time. Darby musta said 20 times, "Somebody gimme a beeer". The two of them appeared to drink a bunch of 'em both wandering around in the audience together during the opening band's set. During the show Darby climbed onto the top of a double stack of tall speakers. Great show. | |||||
