Great show from the House of Blue Light tour of '87. This was my second time seeing Deep Purple and the first time i recorded them. I had just bought the Sony D3 and it was the second show i recorded with it and i remember being very pleased with the recording. If i'm not mistaken this was the next to the last show of the US tour as Blackmore broke his hand the next night in Pheonix and the remaining US tour was cancelled so i guess i got lucky. Recorded from the Lower Level Section 3 Row 3. This is upload #11 from my "Master tape Collection". I'm going to start uploading shows from my 600+ masters which includes uncirculated recordings from 2003 thru the present. I've taped just about every show i've gone too since 1986 so you can imagine i have a lot of masters to share. Most of my recordings from 1986-2002 have been circulating as i used to do a lot of trading back in the day. All uploads however will be new master tape transfers directly from the master tape to CD. Enjoy! Brian.
