However, the first 10 minutes were very bright with a solid low end, and then the sound changed so that the low end really dropped down, and the high end did as well. So, for the first 10 minutes, I left the low end as is, and dropped the high end, as it was so bright as to be uncomfortable to listen to. After those first 10 minutes, I raised the low end and high end just a bit. Overall, a nice sounding audience recording. Duley - December 2006 =========== #1495464 by metro_cubo at 2006-12-08 10:47:03 GMT In comment #1493621 Duley wrote something like this: Its been a couple weeks since any new Marillion hass appeared here, so I thought I'd put this nice little audience recording up. Many of you will be familiar with the LDB master series of recordings. LDB has been seeding his own master recordings of numerous gigs from Italy that he's made over the years, including several Marillion gigs. He'd sent me a copy of this show a couple years ago, and I'd remastered it to my liking. I asked him if it would be OK to share my remaster of his recording here, as he hadn't done so yet, and he told me to go ahead. So a big "thanks" to LDB for sharing his recording with us all. I did up a full contingient of artwork for the release (front and rear, inner tray, as well as art for your discs), and the artwork is included in the torrent. Duley Thanks to Duley for a remarkable job. I had taped both the Milano and the following days' Lausanne show, the latter being released on the FRC series. I don't remember the reason why it sounds a bit different during the first 10 minutes; either the tape was rolling badly, or I just changed seat after 10 minutes. I really enjoyed in 1991 tour, it had a strong mix of new and old material, especially the excerpt from side two of MC sounded very nice. After these two shows, I attended another bunch of 4-5 later in november. Maybe one day I'll take some time and work on one of those as well. Enjoy the show ldb | |||||
