You can probably find it at their website: http://www.mavtv.com/ Peter Cooper is a surprise guest--he was just a ride-share for Todd Snider on his way to Atlanta. Don't expect to see them perform together again! Notice that Jeff breaks a drumstick during "Look What You've Done...". Notice Kevn checking that Jeff has returned during "Let's Go Dancing" before transitioning into the drum-heavy part. Kevn announces that this is the last Thanksgiving benefit show. Evidently Kevn said this privately the previous year but clearly didn't stick to it. However, with a public statement, it'll probably stick for at least one year. This might be the last DnC show at the Roxy--it's supposed to be demolished/residentialized early in 2007. Todd (and Aaron) perform with DnC again the next night at the Georgia Theatre in Athens, Georgia (also available on DVD). This is our first (and probably last) 5 camera shoot. The full, center, and roving stage cameras are Sony HDR-FX1s. The close-up camera is a Sony HDR-FX7, and the rear camera is a HDR-HC1. The audience audio is from a Zoom H4, and the soundboard feed is from a MicroTrack 24/96. Stills were taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XT with 18-55mm USM IS lens. The soundboard for Todd's set had a HORRIBLE buzz which was corrected (somewhat) by filtering with the freeware app Audacity. The crowd was probably around 700--this year, the show didn't sell-out. Also on this disc: You can print off extra cover art with the included 'covers.pdf' file (using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader or similar). The 'label' file is an Epson PrintCD program file which you can use to print artwork on the disc itself, provided you can find the PrintCD program. I'm not aware of an open standard for defining CD printing layout that works across multiple manufacturers' printers. The 'label.pdf' file is simply a PDF printing of the 'label' file and so doesn't require you to have the Epson PrintCD program, but who knows if it is correctly placed for other printers. The 'pass.png' file is a scan of our photo passes. The 'poster.png' file is a scan of the handbill for the night's show. The 'ticket.png' file is a scan of the ticket for the show. The 'toddset.png' file is a scan of Todd's on-stage set list. Note that it's incomplete--weird. The 'pics' folder has pictures from the show, uncorrected. Credits: Gwen Rhoton: Photos, DVD covers, and inserts. King Rhoton: Videotaping, video editing, and DVD mastering. Philip Luckey: Videotaping and audience audio. Apple: Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro. Kevn and Todd: Permission to tape and redistribute the show. Noncommercial distribution only--do not sell!
