Notes: Comments: Moby Grape's Fillmore debut. Direct stereo line feed with an additional room microphone mixed into the left channel. Gurman's reel was dubbed onto recycled tape. It didn't get 100% erased in the process, so bleed through of a previous recording can be heard during a few quiet areas between songs and a substantial noise floor is present throughout. Still, this sounds substantially clearer than every other source I've encountered. 7.5ips master reels of the other acts on the bill (Big Mama Thornton & Jefferson Airplane) survive in Bill Graham's archive, but the Moby Grape masters are presumed to be lost. Alan Bershaw Notes: - Almost all of the background noise has been removed - I also repaired a number of small dropouts - The first track sounds a little rough but the sound improves as the set moves along. Thanks to Alan for passing this to me. edited amd mastered SIRMick February 2017

Notes: "Mk2 remaster" version (TRT 39:10) Recording Information ::: (labeled) soundboard/audience stereo matrix master recording -> "low gen. reels > my reel" transfer on Teac X-1000R > Macintosh with Digidesign Audiomedia III card > Pro Tools (minor "nip&tuck" edits, normalization & tracking - No EQ or noise reduction) > AIFF > xACT (FLAC level 8 files with sector boundaries verified). Original notes: A lot of the rougher edges were smoothed out before the previous post with cuts during the applause improved by adding fades & short pauses where appropriate. Also many level changes and minor dropouts were removed seamlessly. Remaster/Remix 2019-12-xx ::: unknown generation soundboard/audience stereo matrix flacs -> Audacity [channel/phase alignment, fades, some dullspot repairs, volume adjustments, +1.2% averaged pitch (speed) fix with single pass after frequency analysis & with pitchpipe verification (not completely consistent), differential equalisation & noise reduction applied] -> CD Wave (track splits) -> flacs (Trader's Little Helper) -> yr ears. Freed 2019-12-xx.
