The first show of 2007 and the first show with new drummer Lars Puder! The venue is packed with a fairly mixed audience -- this is the biggest crowd the band has yet played to in Berlin. Brotherhood takes the stage to Country Joe & The Fish's "A thing called love" to perform a consistent set of Brotherhood-classics in new improved sound. The new drums drive the band forward with heavy and tight beats increasing the speed of most numbers by several notches, particularly the garage hits "Gun or Run", "Old Tattoo" and "Psychosis" gain a new in-your-face quality. While "The Drifter" and "Better hurry" feature some truly blistering guitar by Kiryk, the jams are fairly ordinary not leaving well known paths but making up for the lost looseness with an agressive treatment that provides great climaxes when the band resumes the two songs after their middle jam. A very heavy show, played by a noticably nervous but highly concentrated band for an interested audience.
