American Land A great opening night! No need to say more about the show, but here's some fun anecdotes from our section. The Moron factor was at medium last night. The guy to the left of me clearly loved the Darkness album as he sang along to most of those songs, and brilliantly called "Something in the Night" during the intro to Long walk Home. The guys in front of us were chatty throughout the night. One turned to say something to my buddy, also rolling, during the encore break. My buddy just looked at him and nodded, a la Silent Bob; I shut that shit down by saying, "Oh, he doesn't speak English." I left it on the tape ;-) Then there was a 12 year old behind us chatting with pops; super-fan pops was on top of his game, barking out, "New album" for all the new songs. Then the alternate title comes from the fact that the mopes in front of us spilled beer all over the stairs, and at least 10 people took spills right next to us throughout the night. Guys in Hartford obviously don't know how to use mops correctly. . . Distracting at times, but does not significantly mar a very satisfying recording. Enjoy. . .
