In my ears and for my enjoyment it is a definite improvement of my recordings. If you do not crave those techniques on live audience recordings this show may not be for you. Show Notes: What a band, what a show! A real special night at the Flex in Vienna. Oceansize, the masters of songwriting emotional prog music showed us again why they are just that. They mesmerized the crowd in the not quite sold out but full venue with captivating melodies and superb musicianship. The band was clearly happy with the reception they got from the crowd and thanked it with a blistering rendition of the song called "Throw All Your Drugs At The Stage". Sound wise once couldnt be happier. One of the harder bands to mix due to their "wall of sound" the sound was crystal clear and transparent, almost perfect. Add to that almost no crowd talking, not even during the quiet parts and you got yourself a marvelous recording. It will serve as my new referrence recording for good sound quality. Check it out, it is worth hearing this band on the rise which has not nearly reached its peak yet. Enjoy! PS: Since this turned out so well I will release both a 24 bit and 16 bit version of this show. | |||||
