Notes: Due to a short between the cable and jack of the Microtrack, there were hundreds of clicks/ticks in the left channel (and several dozen in the right channel) of the master recording. The clicks/ticks were essentially electronic bursts which were quite loud but also quite brief. The clicks were prevalent throughout the recording during all levels of volume, so that in order to remove each individual click, it was required that the click was isolated and reduced to the exact volume of the segment where it appeared. If the click had been entirely deleted, a resulting "echo click" would appear. When the clicks were reduced to the level where it appeared, the sound disappeared. At points, this would be to less than 2% of the original volume, other times as high as 70%. About a half-dozen clicks could not be removed entirely because of the position inside the waveform. There is a 60-second segment of Cover Me included in this folder for the listener to compare the before/after results. The first 30 seconds are from the original file, and the second 30 seconds is the exact segment repeated without the clicks. Additionally, the levels were boosted and balanced, and some minor EQ was done to soften the boominess of the master recording.
