Comment
Well, this is an excellent collection of Sheryl Crow from various television
performances and will compliment Jimtronics nice collection recently posted. Most of
these songs were captured directly from the soundcard but a few came from SP recorded
video tape (the older shows) then transferred directly to .wav files. Anyway, back to business. These are the best part of 5 or 6 different performances as follows:
A. Eric Clapton Crossroads benefit
B. VH1 Storytellers
C. Concert for America (performance in front of the President)
D. VH1 "Save the Music"
E. Hard Rock Live 8/99
F. Unknown
This is the best performance of "The Difficult Kind" I've heard. Eric Clapton is playing slide guitar and it is haunting. Also, "Home" with SC on piano is great. On "Little Wing" David Sanborn goes off on the Sax and "Long Gone Lonesome Blues finds SC yodeling (and the band is minus a drummer). Probably one of if not THE best is "Pale Blues Eyes" with Emmylou Harris. This one bears repeated listening. If anyone can identify the unknown show(s) let me know. Enjoy.
