The older version has always been poor quality both in sound and picture. The second one appeared about 6 years ago and was obtained from a stock footage house, which one I'm not sure. I've owned the first one since the late 80's.I got a copy of the second version about 6 years ago when I borrowed a copy from a friend and converted it to DVD. He said his copy came from the person who got it from the stock footage house. Which means his copy was two generations away from the master, assuming the stock footage house has the master. Anyway you look at it was a major upgrade to the copy that had been floating around. Now for the bad news, being this comes from a stock footage house this video is branded with the "For Screening Only" tag. Although this sucks its not as bad as you think. Its not really that distracting and is worth overlooking since the quality upgrade is so high. So until someone comes up with a version without the branding this is the best copy you'll see. Between Station Man and Spare me a Little there is a beeping tone for about ten seconds and then Spare me a little fades in very little to no music is missed. Also the end of hypnotized is cut, maybe 1 0r 2 seconds of music is lost.(This is the same on both copies of this show that I own) As for the show itself its top flight. A nice rare glimps into Fleetwood Mac at the begining of the Buckingham/Nicks era. Although this is my least favorite version of Fleetwood Mac up to this point you can see that Stevie and Lindsey breathed new life into the band after all of the turmoil of 1974. Enjoy! Trade Freely and Do Not Sell this Video! | |||||
