Notes: FM > ? > AIFF > Adobe Audition > WAV > FLAC > Max > WAV > Audacity > WAV > Max > FLAC Re-tracked version of bucklberry's post found here: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=213835 [currently dead] The original seed is currently dead and my file set doesn't match, so I decided to clean this up a little and re-track it. No noise-reduction: just added a slight fade in and split the tracks a little differently, and made one or two very minor edits. Original seeder's notes: An MP3 stream was posted on his blog by a man I'll just call Larry as that's his name, citing an unreleased performance by Jeff Buckley. So I nabbed it from his source code, split and distributed it to others. Once I'd had a good listen I decided to contact him and ask if he would supply me with the original files and any info he had, and he did just that, top man! As a show at Tower Records is mentioned several times during the interviews, I have two possible dates for the transmission, as they're the day before two known performances at the store: 20th November 1994 or 2nd May 1995. Please correct me if I'm wrong here folks. All I've done to the files is change from AIFF to WAV using Adobe Audition and upload. Larrys reply after I asked for source/transfer info: Oh..that's right...you damn anal retentive traders. geez...that was so far back I can only guess. TDK SA90 were my tapes..type II hi bias. I used a Sony tape deck to capture it off the radio. i had a Monster Interlink Portable 200 cable to patch it in to my Powerbook's audio-in and probably used CD Spin Doctor or Bias Peak. I definitely used _eak to cut it up. I think it was about 73 degrees outside, windshield factor of 32. I may have had a latte, though I do drink nonfat and decaf. I used a Seiko Smartlabel Printer with 6 pt font to label it (I believe it was standard Geneva font) ------------------------------------------------ lovesick alien's notes 2009: Based upon the interviews & conversation, this is definitely 2 May 1995. First - Tammy [KROQ DJ] mentions having seen Jeff at Luna Park [which was 11/22/94]. Next she references "tonight's gig at the American Legion Hall" - which was 5/2/95. Finally, "tomorrow's gig at Tower Records", which was 5/3/95.
