Notes: Fantastic soundboard recording, and an amazing performance. This rendition of A Forest is unbelievable. There are a couple of mix adjustments made during the first song, but they are minor, and painless. There is a bit of digital interference during Other Voices, but it may not transfer when I copy this. Also, there is a cut between that song and the next (tape flip?). Still, a stunning show. Awesome.

Notes: The concert was shortened to allow Robert Palmer's concert to start on time. Actually the Palmer's roadies pulled off the bass plugs during Primary for this reason (interrupting the song !) and the band refused to stop playing. They carried on, once everything was plugged again and A Forest included extra lyrics. At the end, when finally leaving the stage, Simon yelled in the microphone "Fuck Robert Palmer, Fuck Rock'n'roll" ! The band had to lock themselves in a caravan backstage after that, as they were on their own, to escape from the angry roadies !

The source and mix were the same, so this edit is not detectable. Recording volume of show raised slightly. **from 'Ten Imaginary Years': On 5 July, they played a festival in Werchter, by the sea, in Belgium. Robert: "We'd only been on for about a half an hour and everything was running late so Robert Palmer's road crew started motioning to us to stop. This bloke ran on and said 'If you don't stop playing, we're gonna pull the plug'. Simon immediately walked to the mic and shouted 'Fuck Robert Palmer! Fuck rock'n'roll!' and we started playing a really slow version of 'A Forest' which lasted about 15 minutes. It was fucking brilliant. Unfortunately, when we finished, they threw all our stuff off the back of the stage ..." note: Simon shouted 'Fuck Robert Palmer! Fuck rock'n'roll!' after they played 'A Forest' not before!**

Notes: Simon ends this show with a "fuck Robert Palmer" due to Palmer's people trying to rush The Cure off stage due to an early curfew for the festival. Notice the extra long "A Forest" they ended their set with
