Notes: "This is in the midst of the epic Sweetness & Light tour where our hero did about 130 dates in less than 5 months. They had just played about 10 nights in a row and were about to do another long run without a day off. So instead of taking a day to rest body and voice, what does Steve do? Plays an unscheduled free acoustic show at his buddy's bar in Haarlem. Before long JWH joined in and then Kirk Swan. Once they were out there Steve couldn't get rid of em. It was not a problem! Flat out: this is an AMAZING show. The vibe, performance, setlist and sound quality are all aces. The rapport between the players is priceless. The only way it could have been any better would have been if Chris Bailey, who was in the audience (you never know who you will run into in Haarlem), had gotten up and joined them. Oh well, this is one I will never forget (and if I do I will have this excellent recording to remind me)! For what it's worth, this is also one that SW remembers very fondly..." -G2
