Only about 30 seconds were missed, mostly of the Duke of Hazard interlude. Filming this show pushed my camcorder to the limits. It has 35x optical zoom with "800x digital zoom" (yeah right). Careful observers can tell when it switches from optical to digital zoom. When at the magnification limit, there is a weird vibrating/shimmering effect. Neither the "manual" nor autofocus worked perfectly during ther show. With all the rapid movement and varying light intensity, there are times when it couldn't focus well. I really wish I could set the focus point myself, but I have a cheap camcorder, for dummies. When a camera or camcorder does more and more things for you it really makes it harder to do the things you want to do or to do anything creative. Oh well, it's small, inexpensive, films concerts relatively well, and easy to beat security (if present).
