| Notes: | "Here's a fairly obscure Philly band. They were 'Punk' like Husker Du was punk. In other words it's a blend of rock and roll styles within the context of 80's punk/hardcore. This band was based out of Manayunk (A fashionable neighborhood now, but totally the opposite then). The songs were fun and the guys were funny, the music pretty catchy with bursts of nice guitar and really good songwriting, imho. This was the record-release party for their album 'In The Elbow Room' and in classic fashion they had lost two members between the album's completion and the release. The original lead singer guests on 3 songs ['Reality Bus', 'City's Burning' & 'Down On The Corner'] The recording is just fine after a bit of wow/flutter on the first track." -G2 | |||||
