Specific people from the crowd (including myself) went totally nuts! Beer helped a lot! The band played really well, the main core (Rene, Hans & Frank) have been together for many years and Marjolein now seems to have much more self confidence than before. Silje was a pleasant surprise, she did very well on both the new and the old songs. There were some cult figures that attended the concert. In the front row, there was a middle-aged bald guy who stayed there and watched the concert without any reaction, it was as if he was deaf or something. There was another guy who looked like a monk. He had a beard that looked like a bush, long hair, he wore black clothes and he was wandering inside the venue. Totally strange! It was a perfect weekend for me, on Saturday I travelled by train to Thessaloniki, attended Gathering's concert at Block 33, then went out and had some beers with friends, slept for some hours at a friend's house, left for Athens by bus (7-hour trip) and went straight to Gagarin! Burglars tried to steal my car and damaged my trunk's lock, I received a ticket by the police for illegal parking but I only found a small piece of the paper because somebody tore it, wow, what a weekend! But after all, music triumphed and I had a really great time! If you remove tracks 111 & 201, the recording flows seamlessly.
