| Notes: | Jeff Beck Capitol Theater, Passaic NJ 1975-04-27 AUD (Stratcat58 tape) Rejoined with EQ and speed-correction, Features a rare version of "Thelonius", nice set. This tape was a horrible mess when first received, and has taken many hours to bring to its current state. It was found to be in two-channel phase-shifted mono instead of in stereo. The weaker right channel was dropped, and this recording is now in true mono. Several EQ passes were done to minimize overwhelming bass presence, and all tracks required patching thumps where the recorder was turned off. Many gaps were removed, and tracks that were in several pieces were rejoined. The tracks from AIR Blower forward required 25.6 cents speed increase as they were running slow. Superstition required 12.5 cents increase as it was slightly slow also. There's still some mild distortion in places, but not enough to interfere any more. Listen to the sample! I think it's a great set of music and worth all the trouble. It's got originality not found in other concerts during this tour. | |||||
