| Notes: | (Recorded & Processed By Daspyknows) Seated In Section B, Row 3, 5 Seats Right Of Center Aisle Processed Using Soundforge 10b, Resample To 16bit/44.1kHz TLH To Convert To FLAC Daspy Notes: My friends Paul and Patti are part of a group that gets together every year for a weekend of shows and fun. This year they were going to see Steely Dan and wanted me to meet their friends and join in the fun. Recordings of the shows were also a goal. Here is the second night. Day was a bit drama filled. Between Paul's computer dying (anyone know how to recover data from a crashed 2 1/2 laptop drive?) and getting a replacement and Terry having to deal with the stress of people flaking on him with tickets the day was not as relaxing as all had hoped. Fortunately there was no traffic and security was easy. Terry sold the ticket to someone who resold it to "Towel Boy", more about him later. Everyone else was 2 rows behind me. Recorded the opening act and the crowd around me was a bit better than the night before. Little did I know it was temporary. To my right was "Towel Boy" although he couldn't sit in his seat. Why "Towel Boy", he came wearing his workout gear and a towel wrapped around himself. New form of fashion I guess. To my left was a group of four and the guy next to me was a whistler and screamer. One listen and you will understand. To the right of "Towel Boy" was a couple that must have thought it was a Dodger game. Arrived during the third song and left early. The guy also left during the show and returned. Between "Towel Boy" continually moving in front of me and the couple doing the same there are a number of noticeable drops in volume. Behind me were the clappers and during the encore was the drunk guy you can hear yelling. Sound is really good except for the yahoo factor. Enjoy. | |||||
