I remastered this 2009-06-21 to put on track marks, as it came to me as 2 long hunks'o'music; nothing in the audio was touched. This source came straight from the CDR master, extracted via EAC / reports included; after track breakdown, I let TLH remove the SBEs. During track 12, 2:04 in, there's a skip that was ofiginally accompanied by loud scratch ticks b4/after the skip. I attempted to redo the extract many times over the past 3 years & could never get a clean one. So here it is in 2011, with that skip flaw but with the scratch ticks removed. You hear the tempo shift off for the part-of-a-second-or-two that the skip missed. Oh well, bummer it's there, but at least you get to hear this great show at last. NOTES Snakefinger typically named his band & would often change it up from night to night. For this show he calls them "the Illusion Smashers". - - - - It's low gens, so it's not too hissy at all. A couple mic bumps here & there, and at one point it sounds like the mic fell on the floor. You put that aside & it's an otherwise really sweet sounding tape. But it's Snakefinger, so even if it was a turd blossom, you'd find a nice planter to put it in & give it some water. And it's a really great show, Snakey even mentions it's a favorite place of his.
