| Notes: | Fred Frith The Stone NYC USA March 1 2012 Aud>DPA4060>PCM-M10>Peak>Xact>Flac 8 pm Fred Frith (guitar, voice) Shahzad Ismaily (bass) Matthias Bossi (drums) 10 pm Fred Frith (guitar, voice) Lucas Niggli (drums) Twas a LOUD yet very dynamic night at The Stone. The trio set recording suffered from Ismally's overly loud bass amp, which was just to my left, and an annoying fellow on my right who fidgeted and moved through the whole performance, alternately blocking and exposing one mic. I lowered the bass on the left channel, and rebalanced the levels. still a bit of bass and drum distortion on the left side, but a pretty good listen none the less. The Duo set was less problematic, but I had to hand tame about 200 drum hits, and rebalance the channels, I think it sounds pretty good now | |||||
