Notes: I got the cassette tape for this CD-r release in trade from a guy who lived nearby in the mid 70's. He used to bring over tapes recorded at local venues dating from the late 60's through the early 70's. He didn't talk much and I didn't ask many questions. I don't believe he traded through the mail at all and only limited trades in person. He didn't record the shows but I believe he was very close to the person who did. Over the years I traded analog copies of the tape. I have never done a digital transfer of it until now. Mics and recorder unknown> Cassette generation unknown Playback Deck: Tascam 130 > Nikko 32 Band EQ > Akai DR16 Digital Hard Disk Recorder > Sony PCM-R500 DAT Recorder > Sony DAT Tape > HHB CDR-800 Compact Disc Recorder > HHB CDR > WAV > SHN

Notes: Great show, but there is a pretty heavy analog presence throughout. I believe this was sourced from vinyl, as there is a quick cut before LA Woman that would seem to indicate a side change. No fade on When The Music's Over, but the show ends immediately after the song. A really bass-heavy show, and Jim's vocals get a little distorted at times. Still, great show, and no disappointment here.

Notes: Terrible quality. Jim Morrison's last show with The Doors. This show is really only worth having if your a diehard fan like me. Extremely rare live versions of "Love Her Madly," "The Changling," and "L.A. Woman". The show was performed well, but as I said before, the quality is aweful. Hopefully Bright Midnight will release this gem as a SBD recording in the future.
