| Notes: | First Show of the 'Unpredictable' Leg of Todd's 2015 Tour (converts to 2 audio discs) Decent recordings... which I just ripped the audio from 'on-line videos' and then I did some minor editing. The whole show was Fan filmed by various individuals, with the exception of 'I'm So Proud (Soul Medley)' which was performed after 'Bang On The Drum'. So we're only missing that one from the setlist. While 'tweaking' and balancing out the audio, I tried to make the tracks run as seemless as possible. Although there are a lot of unavoidable audience applause fast fade in and fade outs, pretty much all songs are complete. And this is a fun listen that is only to satisfy us until the good audience recordings start surfacing. As far as the performance goes: Minor hiccups, but the good 'ole Liars Band is tight and brings it. I'm so glad to see them lose the chairs and the stools. Todd has lots of energy here. And I like the 'Unpredictable' songs that they selected for this show. Global's 'Rise' is a little weird with live backing musicians, but 'Soothe' is super. I think I just take it for granted that Todd's vocals are going to be incredible night after night, and he doesn't fail us here. And I expected him to crank up 'foamy', which he does this evening too. | |||||
