Notes: Lineage: audience tape > ? > Silver CD > WAV Exact Audio Copy, properly configured to my system w/ proper drive offset for my Plextor PX-891SAF, used to extract the silver CD to my hard drive as WAVs. While listening to the CD, I heard annoying clicks or gaps at the start of every track. Plus, the overall sound quality was so shrill, it made the fillings in my teeth rattle. So, I guess call this my "FIXED VERSION." I'm not touting this as definitive or superior by any means. I think it's an improvement over the Touchdown CD, but that's my opinion. Using Adobe Audition: --- Every track assembled into one forty-nine minute WAV file --- Every little gap or carefully click edited-out. [Screenshot provided.] --- (Hopefully tasteful) parametric EQ applied to the entire WAV. Using CD Wave Editor: --- The large WAV split matching the track listing in the artwork. Using Trader's Little Helper: --- The WAVs encoded to FLAC (Level 8). --- Checksum files created. Total time: 49:32
