Notes: Lineage: Recorded directly to tape by the band's sound engineer, Dan Montecalvo, who has been mixing Michael Stanley's live sound for more than 30 years. -> cassette to CDr (sorry, unknown equipment)-> 2nd gen. CDr to me.-> rip with EAC (log file included in torrent)-> WAV to Adobe Auditon(minor reverb and EQ, and fades for disc start and end)-> Traders little helper Flac level8 -> DIME to YOU (If I knew how to get a "snapshot" of frequency and spectural analysis from Adobe Audition I would post those too) *Trust me, this is a Great Recording! * check the samples* on to the show! For the "New Year's shows" of 1981/82, MSB played two sold out shows at the Richfield Colisum, just south of Cleveland. The Local Entertainment Mag, "SCENE" had a form in the weeks prior to request tunes, calling them the "All Request new Year's Shows".....Of course, most people requested tunes the band would have played anyway..the only song in the set that would not have been played without this "gimmick" was "One Good Reason" , a favorite from the live "StagePass" album from 1977....here making it's last appearance ever by MSB. Since this is direct from the soundboard, there is not alot of crowd noise, but trust me, I was there with 20,000 screaming fans..it was a riot!
