| Notes: | Source: from a trade in the 90's (tape or CDR, I'm unsure) Comments: This is a really uneven audience recording. On the negative side, the taper has some really loud fans close by (but they tend to be quiet during the music); there is a creaking sound throughout which is only audible during very quiet passages (could be in the tape machine), but it doesn't really detract; and during tracks 4 & 5 there is a regular whooshing sound (I presume another problem with the tape machine). On the positive side, the music of tracks 1-3 and 6-8 sounds very good - great volume, well balanced (apart from the first 3 minutes of track 6 - another tape recorder problem, I suspect) and with little audible hiss. I really enjoy tracks 1-3 and 6-8, but I find the other two (4 & 5) difficult to listen to. One curious point someone may be able to clear up: the concert was traded to me as "Seneca, NY", but at the start of track 2 I think Jon Camp says how pleased they are to be in Canada! Any ideas? | |||||
