The Early Show: It looks like the first 2:27 of Speak to Me has been patched from the R1 Master that was recorded by Nigel B. The rest of the show looks to be a full mono version of R2 2nd gen recorded by Steve B. It sounds relatively identical to the 2nd gen source that Shamil posted up on Y in 2013, so I am guessing maybe that is the source they used. I really see nothing wrong with this release and it sounds quite good!

The Late Show: This looks to be pretty much identical to the Obscured at the Rainbow [Triangle] bootleg from the 90's that is R1 and apparently recorded by Derek A. in stereo. This looks as though it has been remastered and or boosted a little bit, to it's benefit IMO. It's sounds quite good and again, IMO, better than the OatR bootleg. Here we have the benefit of R2 from the Reeling source being patched in for inner cut during ACYL about 0:16 into the song. This is all done with good care and sounds really good.

What we have here is a very nice compilation of the Early and Late shows in their entirety.

Notes: November 4, 1973 (Early Performance) Revealed At The Rainbow Digital Floyd Project (DFP-323) Notes: This particular performance was the early performance of Pink Floyd from the Rainbow Theatre on November 4. The cousin to this performance, the later sets, have appeared on multiple RoIOs. This performance has been remastered from a low generation analogue tape of the performance. The sound quality is quite good. -TimV

Notes: Tracks 1-13: Rainbow Theater, Finsbury Park, London. November 4th, 1973. Tracks 14, 15: Abbey Road Studios, London. Sometime during 1972/73. Tracks 14, 15 are taken from the 80 min version of 'Live At Pompeii'. The version I received has no artwork and no bonus track, only a ticket stub scan. But as you can see the weird way the last tracks are split and the running time leaves no doubt about the origin of what I have. I don't miss those bonus tracks anyway as they are IMO absolutely useless here, and commonly available on every Pompei voio and a couple of other roio's. Historical note: first time since years and last time ever PF performed the same night with their friends of Soft Machine (apart from Nick Mason who occasionally drumed for Wyatt in solo and Wyatt singing on Mason's Fictitious Sports). This is the second show (9pm) of that evening. The title comes of course from the fact this was a concert in benefit for former Soft Machine frontman Robert Wyatt who had broke his spine recently (he fell from a 3rd floor window during a party). Very last concert of that 1973 year for PF, before their 74 French tour. Last time a tune from the soundtrack of La Vallée was played. OBC here runs veeeeery slow, but it is not the tape, they played it like that! Really worth to get for OBC/When You're In, since those are the best versions in terms of SQ and probably performance too. Released on label Ganja, #14, the SQ is EX-. Lineage: AUD[LOW]>SILVER CD>CDR
