So this show serves as a bookend on the COVID era, which is hopefully behind us. And what a fantastic show it was! Steve and his band are fantastic, and The Egg is an awesome venue with great sound. The main selling point of the show was the re-creation of the Genesis Live album "Seconds Out", along with some solo material in the short first set. The entire show was quite enjoyable! As usual with The Egg, my recording came out great. This is my favorite venue. I think this is the 15th time I've recorded a show here, and they always come out great. (Only wish they didn't change the parking situation with the tickets, getting out of the garage was a nightmare!). On a technical note, this is the first show that I used a Mac for the post production. I've been using a Mac as my main machine for about 4 years, but always did my audio work on Windows in a Virtual Machine. New M1 based Mac won't run x64 Windows programs at all, so this is the first time I'm using a whole new suite of software for editing and mastering. The only thing I did on Windows on a different machine was create the checksums and torrent file with TLH. A Kitty Lickin' Discs Production | |||||
