| Notes: | Source: Lineage: traded tape (mid 90's), transferred to CDR using Sound Forge and EAC. Flacs created using Trader's Little Helper. Comments: This concert was obviously to support the release of the "Azure d'Or" album, which was due for release about 2 weeks later. It features four songs from that album, (Jekyll and Hyde, forever changing, secret mission and the flood at Lyons) 3 from "A Song For All Seasons", (the day of the dreamer, northern lights, and title song) and the remainder are classics from earlier albums. It's an audience recording, but all the instruments appear to be well balanced in the mix. There is one sound recording glitch - the right channel drops out intermittently during the final minute of "The Flood at Lyons" and the first minute and a half of "Ashes Are Burning", but despite this I find it very listenable. I hope you enjoy it. remaster lineage: flac > wav (adjusts) > flac 8 (sb's aligned) remaster notes: balanced levels in some tracks as needed, applied DC offset, removed a loud noise after Mother Russia and Ashes (not part of the show), added a short section of applause to smooth out tape flip after Vultures, balanced levels especially in part of Flood at Lyon, and a couple of other tracks that had some level fluctuations. it's still clearly a "fan recording" made with a relatively primitive recorder, but this should be a bit of an improvement. remastering by glasnostrd19 march 2022 | |||||
