Notes: vanillag NOTES (1/12/2023): --BIG UP & much thanks to whomever originally recorded this 1987 Steel Pulse show. Also much Jah Love to Jeremiah's friend for rescuing these tapes from the thrift store, Jeremiah for sending them to dubwise &, of course, dubwise for transferring & sharing them with us all. Absolutely Appreciated & sounds surprisingly tasty for a 1987 AUD recording...rowdy, fiyahed up crowd at times, but still!! --Not sure if there was an encore on this night, but it is certainly not here (maybe on a different tape??) --I added the band members info --not 100% sure that Melvin Brown was there with them on lead guitar at this show...he is listed on their wikipedia page as being their lead guitarist from 1982-1989, David Hinds does not intro him in t19 --researched heavily & created a setlist --the name of the tour is announced in t01, but I can't quite make out the whole thing: "Steel Pulse Marcus Garvey '(can't make out this word)' Tour". If anyone knows the name of this tour, please let us all know. --t19 ("Jam") is possibly one of their songs, but I cannot identify this one...they just do some lyrics here & there in between introducing the band members, but the only bit I could make out was a "white horse" rap section...they do more snippets of tunes, though. If anyone knows the names of any more of these snippets, please let us all know --added more detail to the venue info --This venue no longer exists...it opened on 1972-06-28 & was originally known as "Universal Amphitheatre" (from 1972-2005) & then "Gibson Amphitheatre" (from 2005-2013). The amphitheater closed on September 6, 2013 and was demolished for "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood. --https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Amphitheatre
