| Notes: | TAPER NOTES: This show brought me out of my nearly 20 year "retirement" from taping shows, so I had bought some new equipment to doing so. In my rookie state of mind, I forgot to bring along my battery pack for my Church Audio 14's until I was nearly at the venue, and living a few hours away made it impossible to go back and retrieve it. I was stuck to two options, 1, use the built in mics, typically never a good option, or 2, increase the recording levels astronomically within the recorder. (also, not ideal) I tried option 2 for the 1st set of the show, but being paranoid, that setting the levels so high, would've brought out a lot of hiss in the recording, so on the 2nd set, I just used the built in mics. Surprisingly enough, both sets came out better than expected. (sorry for the recorder fidgeting for the 1st :35 of Starla!) I used Cool edit for fade in/out, as well applied a 4-6db volume cut in between songs to bring down the ridiculous loud clapping and cheering. SHOW NOTES: Tear was played during the 75 minutes + (!) soundcheck/rehearsal, but not played in show. After Muzzle, there are loud cheers and then sounds of disappointment, and back to cheers. This is from William taking off the hat he'd been wearing all show long, and putting it back on, and taking it off again. Shortly afterwards you hear, "What flavor do you have tonight?" from the audience. This is in reference to Billy using a throat spray between nearly every song, as it was pretty evident that he wasnt feeling well. His response was pretty humorous. Huge thanks to 2ndtheory for recording and releasing this show DISTRIBUTION: Spaldz, Nicholas Serra & Members of SPLRA 2024-12-31 | |||||
