Comment

Dallas Symphony Orchestra Music Director (and eventual New York Philharmonic Music Director) Jaap van Zweden leads the orchestra in November 2014 performances of Dutch composer Johan Wagenaar's Cyrano de Bergerac concert overture, as well as Beethoven's Symphony No. 7. Violin virtuoso Hilary Hahn joins the ensemble in a shimmering rendition of Korngold's Violin Concerto, which is by turns lyrical and gymnastic.

Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 8:00 PM (Complete concert, except for Hilary Hahn's Bach Encore)

Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center
Home of the New York Philharmonic
