| Notes: | Thanks to Liza Levitt for guarding the tapes after Barry's passing and to Ted Mattes for facilitating Performed at 8:00 a.m. on the floor of the AMEX on Trinity place to mark the IPO of Hard Rock Cafe stock on the AMEX. The tape notes "8:00 a.m." Unfortunately, it has no recording information and appears as filler on Barry's master recording of the Dead in Oakland on 1986-12-31. It seems unlikely that he would have used his master tape to record this show, but the recording itself is clear and crisp. Therefore this is probably a C(1). The taper could have been Lee Schusterman, or possibly Jon Ashner, who worked in finance in New York and may have had access to the exchange floor to tape the show. Whatever the backstory, enjoy this fun and furious 20 minutes of the Blues Brothers. Enjoy! --mhg :: 2025-05-08 | |||||
