| Notes: | txt file mislabelled Gang of Four Last time I saw Belly in New York, they were terrific, but Tanya Donelly had laryngitis. This time around, she was in full voice, as the band played all of their 1995 album King for the 30th anniversary, then came back out for a second set (and encore) of favorites and rarities. Tracy Bonham joined in on backing vocals for two songs. Recorded from, oh, let's call it 20 feet back from the stage, even with Gail Greenwood at stage left. Sony Hall can get boomy, but the cardioid mics took care of that nicely. Go buy all of Belly's records and follow them on the socials, they're brilliant! | |||||
