Notes: Great-sounding show. Not a SBD recording, but I give it an A/A+. Very listenable. Another one of my favorites...

Notes: Brad The Viper Room West Hollywood, CA 11/28/01 Source: Sanken COS-11sBP > D100 > dEDIT > mkwACT > .shn Notes: A very small venue on the Sunset Strip. Occasionally you may hear a snap, static or pop, but that was the PA. There seemed to be a bad mic cable somewhere on stage causing the problem. Shawn Smith, sporting two long braids seemed to be in good spirits, acknowledging some comments from the crowed on a couple of occasions. Regan Hagar has a pony tail and his drumming really stood out during "Screen." Mike Berg was solid on bass as always and even got some time in on keyboard. Stone Gossard was dressed somewhat non-descript with a light colored t-shirt and jeans. No duck-walk noticed. Stone had a solo that really ripped during "Screen" as well. Stone's hair looked shaggy. He's in the middle stages of growing it long. It could be tucked behind the ears (although it was not). The versatility of the band members was on display tonight as they played musical chairs throughout the set (pardon the pun). A really nice, yet short performance that showcased the abilities not only as a band, but as musicians.
