Notes: A magic concert and an overexcited crowd produced a fantastic night. The Smashing Pumpkins returned to Portugal and to a small venue, the Coliseu is only a 5000 seat venue and the band had a lot of fans that sold out the venue in a blink. That said i and a few friends had no tickets for that night but i decided to go to the venue doors checking out how prices were doing with scalpers. Prices were stupid and i was almost giving up when word came up that in a near buy official ticket stall there was tickets available... fast run and i made it to a balcony facing the stage. Perfect spot to record and enjoy the show. Lights out and the heavy metal machine was blasting out loud!!! The crowd was in awe as you will notice throughout the recording and the pumpkins kicked ass all the way. The recording came out good i think but the sound was so massive that the punch feeling is always there making it sound tight. The only thing i done here was a treble and bass tweak. Besides that is the real deal. During Tonight the sound gets muffled for a bit because suddenly a security guy walked in our balcony to pick a microphne that was fixed to the rail and so i ducked my mic thinking he was coming for me... Ava Adore is cut in the middle due to MD change... no luck with that! But there is another source where you can catch the full song (i like mine best :-) ) This version was traded back in the day but not too much and i have never seen it around here and thought it was about time. Enjoy and share. Cheers Z
