Notes: Additional comments Famous recording, part of it has been released on various silver pressed bootlegs as soundboard recordings. Taken from a professional picture disc CD-R edited on only 10 limited edition copies (I have copy # 6). This bootleg is a professional mix of all available soundboard sources and is as complete as possible: 1) There is an amazing and inedit intro from The good, the bad and the ugly theme (never edited in official bootlegs versions) 2) Once upon a time in the west has the real begin and has no fade in like official bootleg versions 3) Nice mixing between the end of Once upon a time in the west and Down to the the waterline (better than the mixing of official bootleg versions) 4) Private investigations has the real end and has no fade out like official bootleg versions 5) Sultans of swing has the real begin and has no fade in like official bootleg versions 6) Tunnel of love has the real end and has no fade out like official bootleg versions 7) Solid rock has the real begin and has no fade in like official bootleg versions 8) Solid rock has also a longer end than official bootleg versions The title of the bootleg is taken from a line that Mark Knopfler says during the concert. Sadly, John Lennon was murdered on 8th December 1980. From that moment on, Mark dedicated the song News to John Lennon.

Notes: Pro-shot PAL DVD with pro menus and chapters. Short but very sweet show. Opening track, 10 minute version of "Once Upon A Time In The West" is blistering! Fantastic look at a relatively early Dire Straits. My disc also has a bunch of bonus material. Fridays Live: Recorded TV Studios, Los Angeles, USA - October 31st 1980 - Skateaway. Romeo And Juliet - Belfast 81: Recorded Ulster Hall, Belfast, N. Ireland January 5th 1981. Sultans Of Swing - 'Good Evening Uslter': Recorded Ulster TV Studios, Belfast, N. Ireland - January 6th 1981. Interview J. / H. Lindes 'Song Festival'. Recorded Ariston Theatre, San Remo, Italy - February 6th 1981 - Tunnel Of Love. Great stuff all round! Enjoy!

Notes: Great show with nearly perfect sound. The opening song, a ten minute Once Upon A Time is worth the disc by itself... everything else is just great!
