This is a mix of 2 different MASTER sources that were shared on bt.etree.org (Arcme262 and Taperjoe's sources)
Thanks to both for taping the shows, sharing the masters, and then allowing others to combine them..(Both shows were upped around the same time). I'm quite happy with the results. One source is from the stage, the other further out in crowd, so there's a great spacial mix to it all.
As a high level overview: I mixed ACRME262 as the master, overlaying TAPERJOE's source, syncing it up...having to stretch it's tempo by milliseconds to get everything to match up...TAPERJOE's volume is at about 75% to ARCME262's...and then between songs (when Chris talks), TAPERJOE's volume comes down to about 50% (quieter that way).
During Something Wicked, there's 30 seconds where ARCME262's source drops out but TAPERJOE's source keeps going...(ARCME262's source comes back in at just the right time! He was changing recording media during this time, fyi)
Nothing was done to the original audio sources except for slight 'syncing' (adjust tracks by milliseconds) and volume control.
Thanks all! Enjoy!

Good thing this show was so great, because the ride there was the
worst. An ice storm hit the area as I was still about 120 miles
away, making the rest of the trip a very slow hell-ride.
This was my first chance to use my new SP mics for a Duarte gig. So
far, I'm very happy. I still need to get used to using them as far as
on-stage placement and record levels, but if this is what I pull in
my first attempts, then I can hear the real potential. As is usual
with on-stage recordings, the vocals are lower than usual in the mix, but
this will be perfected over time with better placement. There seems to
be an occasional small bit of noise in the vocal, but I don't think
it's distortion on my end, I think maybe it's the crappy sound of the
monitors, which is where the vocal was coming from.

Transfer: firewire to Powerbook G4 > Spark XL used for dither, re-sampling, & tracking > flac (xACT level 8)
Here's a non-stage source of this killer show. The club's PA system was arranged weird: subs lining the underside of the stage & the mid - high boxes on shelves that were about 15 feet off the ground pointing straight out. I set up on the top of a stairway ending up very close to center & a couple feet under the shelved PA speakers, about 40 feet from the stage. Enjoy!!
