Notes: Diginoise at 2:46 of D2t02 on Master DAT
compiled 8.4.03 by Matt Casey
Reconversion notes:
--------------------
This source was brought to my attention by several people saying it sounded sped up. Reviewed all wav files which read as 44.1 but definitely sounded fast. Probably the original DAT was thought to be at 44.1kHz but was really at 48kHz therefore would sound sped up if not resampled to 44.1kHz. All tracks needed a speed adjustment so I opened each file in Audacity and did a speed adjustment of -8.8% to bring them all to normal speed. Also found the right channel to be over 2 db lower than the left so using Soundforge 8, increased the right channel volume by 2.09 db to even things out. Encoded all wav files in Flac Frontend to create new flac files and fingerprints.
Errors fixed:
--------------------
Dropout at 3:02 of BOWA on both channels during Tim solo part, crossfade applied seamless. No diginoise heard at 2:46, could be same error heard on Master DAT.
Sudden spike of interference or disconnection that caused huge clipping at the 3:53-3:55 mark of R&R, crossfade applied over this part rather than deleting it or trying to decrease the huge burst of static.
Thanks to Smokin' Joe for the help with Audacity to help me correct the speed issue with the wav files.
