The sound quality on this gets at least an A-. It's actually very nice sounding, but could the crowd please shut up for one minute??? Do you really have to go to the Kaki show to be a loudmouth asshole? It was recorded about ten feet from the stage, standing on the bench in front of stage left, up against the wall. No distortion or overmodulation issues, though the levels are low. I didn't change them, because I felt in this case that boosting it wasn't doing the recording any favors.
It's taken me a while to get this uploaded, because I was kind of mad at it. Originally, I left the show before the encores, and had about 91 minutes recorded. I played it back twice at home, and was pleased with the results. At some point, 20 minutes, including a very nice "You Don't Have To Be Afraid", vanished from my recorder. I still don't know what happened to it, so now it's down to 70 minutes. If anybody has had similar experiences with the H2, or has any suggestions, I'd love to hear about it. Of course, I also recorded openers An Horse, and that recording is complete and fine. I'll upload it in the near future.
Enjoy - don't sell, trade as lossy, and give credit to crematia13 when posting elsewhere.
