The DAT>CD>CD>CD discs that I received had an overlap between
discs #2 & #3. After extracting with EAC (twice, comparing
the extracted wave files from each extraction), I used Cool
Edit Pro to rejoin, losing the fade-out / overlap / fade-in.
I also retracked the entire show. And I reduced the silent
sections at the end of each set. No other editing was performed.
If rejoining to longer media (ie DVD) the last track of
disc #2, and the first track of disc #3 should be omitted, as
these are fades added to make the individual discs smoother.
I verified .wav file lengths with shntool after all the retracking,
and all is good :-)
