CD WAV > MKW .97 by Bill Gardner, bgard@speakeasy.net
Sector boundaries fixed on 3/6/2002 (prior to release as a dank candidate) by Jim Raras
This was done by getting the .shn's from Bill, decompressing to .wav, md5'ing them and then cutting a frame off of the end
of d2t02 and d3t03 to make them fall on boundaries using CDWav. Then updating .wav/.shn md5's and .shn'ing via Monkeys/md5um.exe.
Lineup: Steve Kimock - guitar, Rodney Holmes - drums,
Mitch Stein - guitar, Richard Hammond - bass.

This is now a Dankseed. I have updated the txt file here and have added a link to the dankseed website in the source information.

Yes, also I noticed this one circulating before it was Dankseed certified. This practice is *highly* frowned upon by the Dankseeds community. Please do not circulate shows that are being Dankseed reviewed. Thanks.

Valid point there Bill, this shn set may have been added before it went up for dankseed certification...I do not know, anyways will make a note of dankseeds' policy.

Bill, with all due respect for dankseeds, the kimock community is certainly not going to wait for 8 months for a choice seed to circulate. In case you aren't aware, most of the recordings we trade in kimockland are certainly up to the sound-quality standards of dankness and they circulate VERY quickly. For instance, I had this recording in hand within a week, not necessarily this particular transfer though. But then perhaps that is the point of dankseed certification?

Alan, you are EXACTLY right. Ofcourse this show began to circulate shortly thereafter. There were several people patching from this rig, etc. However the point of dankseeds is to transfer and document from the cleaneast known source. Go nuts, trade all you want but do not circulate a dankseed candidate before it is finalized. For this specific show, I used Tom K's master from the lead deck, fully documented all taping/transfering specs and submitted for review. This ensures that this source (matching these md5's) is 100% error free.
