Notes:

- This was the show that got me into trying to find a way to combine
an AUD source with a SBD source after the fact.  I had experience
doing live matrix recordings in the 90s, but I had never attempted to do it as a
post-production exercise; i.e. trying to synch the two sources after
the performance had already happened.  Second set had been a favorite in
high school, so when I hear that the board had been seeded at eTree I
was excited to hear it, but much to my dismay, the SBD source was
not nearly as exciting as the AUD.  I thought about how great it would be
if I could combine the two sources for Scarlet->Fire.  I first attempted to synch
the two in 2002 but the results were not worthy, mainly because of the AUD source
I was using.  I kept at it, trying different techniques with different shows, and
then in late '04 seeded Sick Bits Vol. 1.  Now, with Dr. Bob Wagner's balcony
recording, I am able to offer up the whole first set and the infamous Scarlet->Fire
in matrix format.
- The whole show has been tagged, so any FLAC player should read the info.
- Tags will be stripped when converting to wav, etc.
- Samson through the rest of the show is shnid=90497 which is Charlie Miller's
16 bit transfer of Dr. Bob's master.  Nothing was changed with these files except
adding the metadata tags.  I did this so one could have a complete fileset.
If you already have that shnid or the 24bit version for that matter, these
will be redundant files, the only addition are the tags.
- The first set is improved by the matrix over its separate respective sources,
however, the second set is such a great pull by Dr. Bob that the resulting matrix
is really not an improvement.  Get the 24bit Scarlet->Fire from shnid=90530, an
amazing recording, amazing Healy mix, and amazing acoustics at the Fox.

Thanks:

- Special Thanks to Dr. Bob Wagner for lending me his master for the first set.
- Thanks to Michael Dayton for letting me use his Nak deck, Apogee converter and
  Peak Pro for the transfer.
- Thanks to Darrin Sacks for the SBD and Mike Parillo for the SBD Stranger edit.
- Thanks to Charlie Miller for tranferring and mastering Dr. Bob's second set master.

Deadicated to The Fox's Den.

Enjoy!
-Chappy
