festival played to an extremely enthusiastic crowd.
Featroller note: enthusiastic crowd indeed! There are certain recordings where you can clearly sense the band
feeding off the crowd's energy, and this is a prime example. The blues medley with John Mooney jumps out in Willie
Dixon's Mellow Down Easy > Apolitical Blues rips some terrific slide out of Paul. The sound is a little distant
but in an atmospheric you-were-there sort of way, and the guitars are very high in the mix. This is a really
fun listen. Thanks to weedwacker67 for the original upload at dimeadozen.org.
