Recording notes:
The whole show is a bit hot, but then again, anyone that was there will tell you that it was a LOUD night, right from the get-go. Good Old Funky Music was loud as hell and that was the second song of the show. Also, D2T9 contains pretty much nothing but a little bit of crowd noise (it's a SBD) very little banter and a 1:06 gap of silence when the mics were muted on the SBD. If the idea of sitting through 1:06 of silence bothers you, don't burn D2T9. You've been warned!
The BAND:
George Porter Jr. - bass, vocals
David Russell "Russ-kell" Batiste Jr. - drums, cymbals, vocals
Brian Stoltz - guitar, vocals, funk cowbell
Note: This show didn't start until 12:30am, so I guess that means they played on 7/16, but I went with the official tour date. PBS started after midnight because it was an "after show" meant to follow the Phil Lesh & Friends show at the Fillmore.
