Is the DAT used in this transfer sourced from the same Cass(0), I wonder. Does it have the same unknown cass generation issue as the other source???

Also, I'm guessing this source was made AFTER the other one, I note the better soundcard.

Duh! Guess I should've looked harder...

Still, though, is this a new transfer of the same DAT. Or is there a new DAT involved... Or, are the tape anomolies on mentioned on the 2000 source the same as those mentioned on this 2002 source???

Yeah, looks like its the same source from the notes. Im a little more curious as to why the person who transfered it didnt try and retransfer..."it sounds like a transfer issue maybe?"

This is a retransfer, and both tranfers for that matter were performed by the same person. The soundcard for this source is M-Audio Audiophile 24/96 and the soundcard for the other source is Turtle Beach Home Studio.

I can understand wanted to use a bit perfect soundcard, but why settle to seed a show that may have transfer issues that can be corrected if you just try it again??

Just to note, the DAT I uncovered (thanks John Law) is purported to be a Marc Nutter source and DOES include the acoustic encore (albiet they are VERY VERY faint). The SHN set I made up keeps these tracks, but you'll end up burning the show without as they really are inaudible (I turned my stereo up to 8 to be able to hear Amazing... speakers 'bout blew up when the crowd came in...)

Oh, and for some very unfortunate reason, there is diginoise at the very very end of Coil, right during Page's last notes and the crowd noise...
