Hello!
So this source is a mystery to me. It was one of the first DAT > CD >SHN transfers I did about 12 years ago. Even back then I was keeping source info, so I'm assuming the DAT wasn't labeled or I had some good indoor sativa at the time. I recently rescued it from some Memorex CDRs at the bottom of an old shoe box (remember Teva sandals?). I obtained the DAT from either Mark Lynn or Walt Ferguson, two old school VA tapers that deserve a shout out for being awesome and sharing their tapes with me so long ago.
This transfer was done back when it was assumed that everything would go on CDR (thank goodness that didn't last) so, it is tracked for CDR listening, with the dumbass fade tracks that I wish I could now get rid of.
Listening today, this music sounds so fresh and good, especially the very odd jam that percolates out of Twist, and the strong, patient Slave that finishes out set two.
