This is a great sounding recording, IMO, and a very high energy and smooth show.

Note on circ date: I received these .shns around 08/10/2000. I traded them out a little bit, but not much, until a couple weeks ago when I uploaded them to a major server, and since then they have spread a lot more. So, they've actually been out since even before 08/10/2000. Perhaps Jamie Treworgy knows more precisely.

Perhaps Jamie Treworgy (who I'm still indebted to for hooking me up with this way back then) knows more precisely.

Er, sorry about the late reply... two years late!!

I had an analog copy of this show from what sounds like the same source since shortly after the show in 1992, from someone who patched their DAT into the Neumanns. I got a DAT copy from the same person around 1998 when I went digital. I didn't trade either very much, and the taper was never online back then (and I've since lost touch with him) so they were probably not very widely circulated until 2002. The same info applies to 11/27. I suspect there's an error on the microphones for one or the other, because I'm 99% certain the sources are the same for both nights. They sound identical, and seriously... two different Neumann rigs at Porchester in 1992??
