Souce: Sennheiser 441> Sony D5 (record button was held down so there is no cut on line out)> Sony D3 DAT.  Mics were half way between stage and sound board.  Mics were 8 ft high.  There are no cuts in tape due to D-5 source but I did have to change DATs during drums.  Sounds great!!!  Recording is like real estate, location! location! location!!!

Conversion: Casio DA-R100 @48Khz> S/PDIFF input on Creative Live! sound card > Sound Forge 5.0b @44.1Khz > mkw Audio Compression (no extraction involved anywhere in process)

Notes:  There was a DAT tape switch in drums between tracks 4 and 5.  It is a very painless cut at a low point in drums.  This is only cut in the tape.
