Tara Nevins: "We'd like to wish Maggie a belated birthday from a couple
of days ago....July birthdays, alright!"
Jeb Puryear: "Thankfully, it cooled off a little bit and the moon is bright,
and things are lookin' good."
Heavy thunderstorms in late afternoon doubtless kept attendance down.
Nonetheless, this well-organized and well-run mini-festival was a wonderful
experience. A lot of people clearly donated time and labor to bring this
off. Congratulations and gratitude to Tony Brown, his sons, and their
friends for organizing and running this event. A great evening.
Musical highlight of the evening was the trio of Messrs. Puryear, Spark,
and Raudabaugh performing Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing."
